  • Dental Insurance (100% full-time employees)
  • Life Insurance / AD&D (100% all employees)
  • Vision (elective all employees)
  • Dental / Vision Reimbursement (100% part-time employees – starting in 2022)
  • Vacation and holiday pay

We are very proud to be able to offer some of the best benefits in the industry. To increase accountability and as a reminder to our employees that Nice benefits come from Nice customer service, we have adopted a 3% Employee Wellness Charge.

Our 3% Employee Wellness Charge is not a gratuity for services provided by any employee and is not the property of any employee of 10K Brewing LLC. See Minn. Stat § 177.23, subd. 9.

Why charge a 3% Employee Wellness fee to customers?

We value our employees and believe they should have access to the highest level of health and wellness benefits.

Where do the funds from the 3% fee go?

100% of the fee goes to our employees in the form Health, Dental and Life insurance benefits. The fee is carefully tracked in our chart of accounts and there is never an excess.

Why not just raise your prices?

Because our prices are rounded to the nearest dollar or half-dollar a price increase would actually be higher than charging a 3% fee. We also believe in transparency for our customers and our employees. The fee is a reminder that good service will ensure the longevity of 10K Brewing and the benefits they’re provided with ultimately by our customers.

What does the 3% fee provide?

The 3% fee helps offset some of the cost of providing health benefits for our employees. Full Time employees receive Health, Dental and Life insurance 100% covered by 10K Brewing. Part Time employees receive dental and vision reimbursements (starting in 2022)

Is any amount of the 3% fee left over at the end of the month?

No. The 3% fee only accounts for roughly 50% of the cost of providing benefits to our employees. There will never be a situation where there are extra funds left over at the end of the month.

I don’t agree with paying this 3% fee or I don’t feel like the service was worthy of it.

No problem! We will refund the 3% fee, no questions asked. Please email taproom@10kbrew.com with your name, date and approx time of your visit. Any feedback you could provide is greatly appreciated and will be relayed in an appropriate manner to staff.
