Live Music: Jill Hettwer

Jill Hettwer has been playing in the local music scene for the past 20 years. Most recently, she was the lead singer of the band, SHAG. After 15 years with SHAG, Jillis enjoying a less hectic schedule, and enjoying the opportunity to sing new types of music, that she says, “the crowd can’t help but sing along to!”

Jill has a vocal range that allows her the ability to sing many different styles and types of music. Her energy and ability to connect with the room are unmatched.

Joining Jill on stage are two extremely talented musicians, Steve Brennan and Steve Dahl. Both Brennan and Dahl have been playing together for the past 30 years! First in an 80’s rock band called Renegade, then together, formed the band SHAG in 1998.
