Free event featuring 45+ food truck fares!
The Anoka Food Truck Festival will invade downtown Anoka on Saturday, July 20th.
You’ll be able to sample food truck delicacies all day long, with hours from 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
More than 45 food trucks will be selling their unique street eats with global cuisines ranging from Indian to British to Japanese to locally grown pork. Food trucks will line up on Jackson Street between 1st and 3rd Avenues (right near city hall).
In addition to the de-lish food trucks, the festival will include other unique experiences on 4 wheels: fashion/clothing trucks, vintage record truck, shoe shines & beard trims in a classic airstream, photo booth truck and something just for our four legged attendants from Pet Wants! This event is also paired with the annual Anoka Sidewalk Sale / Discover Anoka Days so that you may venture and explore many of the local business which are offering special deals for the weekend.
Other activities include life-size Jenga, mechanical bull, bean bag toss, henna tattoo artists and a psychic tarot reader.
Live music will add to the atmosphere and you’ll be able to enjoy handcrafted beers by Elysian Brewing, Kona Brewing Company & Goose Island. Other beverage options will also be available. The event is free. Each water sold will benefit Feed My Starving Children by providing meals to someone in need. Last year over 33K meals were raised!
