Lazarus is a multi-instrumentalist previously in bands with three top 100 CMJ charting albums, and two Independent Music Award nominations (Album/Single of the Year). Lazarus has worked as an independent commercial composer and been in bands on the bill with a diverse range of artists like: Neil Young, Metallica, Willie Nelson, Roger Waters, Dave Matthews, Norah Jones, Cage the Elephant, Rancid & more!
Though not learning an instrument until 17, he was performing on stage within months of picking up a guitar and touring internationally by age 20. In late 2022 the solo project “ImLazarus” officially debuted with the release of “Same Old Song”. With that release Lazarus introduced his signature ragtime sound.
